About Mallery McElroy PA-C

Mallery McElroy is a certified physician assistant specializing in medical dermatology in Newport Beach. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Human Biology and a minor in Health Care Studies, and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from High Point University in North Carolina.

Before becoming a PA, Mallery spent 3.5 years working as a medical assistant in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, where she developed a strong foundation and passion for the field. She began her PA career in primary care, which allowed her to strengthen her general medical knowledge and clinical skills—experience that continues to inform her comprehensive approach to dermatologic care. Her clinical interests include skin cancer prevention, acne, hair loss, and hormone-related skin conditions. She stays current with emerging research and enjoys helping patients find evidence-based solutions for their skin concerns.

Outside of work, Mallery enjoys attending pilates and yoga classes throughout Orange County. She also loves hiking and exploring the outdoors with her boyfriend, Isaac, and their dog, Macie.
